The Position
RES are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IFS Functional Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the development team, translating business requirements into functional specifications that will drive the ongoing enhancement of the ERP system. This role combines business analysis, functional expertise, and technical understanding to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals.
This role sits within the IFS development team and will work closely with our highly skilled developers to respond to continuous demand from Finance, Projects, Procurement, HRIS and other key areas within the business.
Essential Functions
Essential functions are the basic job duties that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation. These functions require a significant amount of time (at least 10%) in the performance of the job.
ERP System Management:
- Oversee and optimize the IFS ERP system across modules such as Finance, Projects, HRIS, and Procurement.
- Identify and implement system enhancements to improve business processes and efficiency.
Business Analysis:
- Gather and document business requirements, translate them into functional specifications and user stories.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions aligned with best practices.
Functional Support:
- Provide day-to-day support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and conduct training sessions.
- Validate system configurations and customizations through testing and UAT cycles.
- Support the design and testing of IFS solutions, including upgrades and enhancements.
•Stay current with IFS product updates and best practices and drive future improvements.
•Stakeholder Engagement:
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Development, Construction, HR and finance.
•Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure alignment and successful delivery of ERP solutions.
Additional Responsibilities
Present, support, and lead-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
- Collaborates with IT peers and leadership to ensure that IT services are integrated and aligned with the broader IT strategy.
Provides support and guidance for support teams, other analysts, developers and end users.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- 5+ years of experience with IFS ERP systems, preferably IFS Cloud.
- Strong understanding of ERP processes across a number of modules.
- Experience with system configurations, customizations, and SQL.
- Familiarity with Agile/Kanban methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

- ERP certifications or formal training in IFS modules is preferred.
- 3 or more years’ experience with integration platforms (e.g. Boomi) and construction or utility Industry Experience is preferred.
